my mother's day

Yesterday Liam came home from school with a Mother's Day surprise. He brought me a pot of petunias and wrote two fun worksheets all about me. It was so sweet. Thank you Ms. Haygood for thinking of the moms. She is such a great teacher. Anyway, here's the poem Liam wrote. I'm not going to correct the spelling, because I think it's cute. Anyway here's the bio poem...
Jessie
Beutiful, loving hardworker
Mother of Liam, Isabelle, Emery and Colin.
Cares about children, cleaning, reading
Who feels happy, thankful, loving.
Who needs love, help cleaning, more rest.
Who gives kisses, time, hugs.
Who fears giant spiders, children home alone, babies near deep water.
Would like to see her children happy, love, a clean house.
Resident of Nashville, Tn
Williams

The next sheet is called my marvelous mom...
If my mom were a flower, she would be a daisy, because she is always happy.
If my mom were a song, she would be Brown Eyed Girl, because she has hazel eyes.
If my mom were a super hero, she would be any girl hero because she helps people.
If my mom were candy, she would be skittles because she likes all the colors of the rainbow.
If my mom were a car, she woudl be a mini van because she is small.
If my mom were a color she would be yellow because she makes me happy
If my mom were an animal she would be a comelion because her favorite color is the rainbow.
If my mom were a TV show she would be Charlie Brown because she is snippy sometimes like Lucy.

There you have it folks out of the mouth of babes... Hope all the women out there had a beautiful mother's day. Mom or not, you still affect the lives of the youth and I'm grateful for you!

Love it!! That is so cute and cool. But here's what I noticed.... since it's from your son... A BOY.... notice that the word "clean" is in that poem 3 times!!! That is HILARIOUS all by itself!!
