Angry Faces

Here are some funny pictures of Aiden's angry face. We see this most often when he wants something that he is not allowed to have, or when he doesn't get fed quick enough. We though they were very funny and hopefully you will too!!

Cheers,
Sarah, Aiden and Price

Super brother!!

Liam decided to share his superhero pj's so that Isa could be supergirl. This is the phots we took of the kids jumping and playing superhero on the stair. Although Isa is wearing batman, please don't make the same mistake I did and say so. She is SUPERGIRL!! Anyway, life is good and way too busy. I am looking forward to the good spring weather and planting our garden although I should be focused on painting our house. I'll get my second wind there I'm sure. That's a great thing to do this summer when it is too hot to go outside. hee hee. Anyway, life is good. Have a super day! Loves, jess

Wonder of Wonders, Miracle of Miracles

Yes! There is such a thing as a plumbing angel. I just barely finished my dishes and the drain is unclogged. It was still clogged when I left it this afternoon and now miraculously there is no clog and my sink for the first time in a week is not covered in scum! Life is great! Heavenly Father answers prayers, even those of frustrated moms. Aunt Patti, there might be a kitchen remodel angel out there. It's worth asking for anyway. Well, that's all, I need to comfort Emery. We are trying the crying it out thing and it is not so fun. In fact it's pretty miserable for both of us. Loves to all!

I am woman! Hear me Roar!!

Did you ever have one of those days! I just earned the terrible mom award for Roaring at my kids and husband all day. I did not intend to be rotten. I just kept looking at unfinished projects and wanted at least one complete!! So on that note, I headed to Home Depot and gathered ammunition. Outlet covers, a drain snake, new bathtub faucet, plumbers tape, and light switch covers. Oh how I did roar! I attempted to fix the kitchen sink and can't get the snake in past about three feet. After tearing it apart I realized how gross this job can be. I again attempted the snake and made it in again only about three feet. I put the sink back together, roared a bit more and then turned on the faucet hoping for a miracle. I didn't get one this time, so I intend on praying for an angel plumber tonight. One project still unfinished. On to # 2 I changed all the door locks and now the house has one key for everything. YES! score one point. Next I tore out the old faucets upstairs and put in new ones. However, this project remains unfinished due to the fact that I can't get the spout off. Does anyone know how to get the spout off! This silly kit didn't even come with instructions, so I feel pretty good so far. Especially since I put on new handles and a new shower and even got the shower to stop leaking! Still the project remains unfinished until the spout comes off. ROAR #2. Oh well, one out of three projects finished for today. With three kids I'll call it good! Here are some cute photos of Emery. I took her hair out of her braid and it stayed in a mohawk. Funny! May all your days be happy and filled with finished projects and unpacked boxes! Love ya jess

ps here are some cute emery photos with gramachele and poppo

Flat Liam returns

Liam had a school project of sending out a flat Liam to a friend and then doing a report on the state that friend lives in. He chose to send flat Liam to Caleb in Utah. Caleb took Liam on a great adventure and taught him lots about Springville. This is what Caleb and his family had to say..." We were so grateful to have flat Liam come and visit. (though we would have preferred that you all came in person:)
On the first Saturday of every month, Home Depot has a kid's workshop. We took flat Liam with us on Feb 3rd and made race cars.
The first Monday of every month is Family Night at the Springville Art Museum. They talk about different things to do with art, then they let the kids make something fun. we used pieces of wire to make different things. we've included some wire so you can make something too.
Springville Utah is also called 'Art City'. There are several bronze statues all over town. We took flat Liam around the town and to the library and took picutres with some of the statues. Which one is your favorite?

(Liam liked the turtle one and Isa liked the little girls)
We've had a lot of snow this winter, but the last few days have been beautiful, so most of our snow had melted. Flat Liam found some snow, and took the time to make a snow angel. He even played on the slide with Dannae. After a long day around town, flat Liam laid down to sleep with Colby. We sure had a ton fo fun with our flat friend, I hope you have fun with the pictures. Musch Love to you all! Tracey, David, Sierra, Caleb, Colby and Dannae."

Liam found out some interesting facts about Utah. In a future blog we will show you his report. (Morgan filmed it for this reason.) We hope you enjoy liam's adventure. By the way, I though you might be interested in how Liam became flat. He was rock climbing with his friend Thomas and fishy, when fishy pulled out a tiny rock. The tiny rock started an avalanche. Liam, Thommy and Fishy were all flattened and thus began their flat adventure. We'd like to say a special thank you to Tracey and her family for taking Liam on such a fun adventure and introducing him to the Art City.

Happy Valentines Day

Wanted to wish you all a Happy Valentines Day! Aiden is crazier than ever--this is one of our favorite faces. Lately he's been experimenting with walking; he can now stand for a few seconds alone. We can't wait for that second tooth to come along (hopefully then his t-shirts will stay a little drier). Price is stressed about his big MA exam coming up, but loves how his thesis is coming. I am awaiting spring so I can take my adventurous little boy out without stomping in soggy grass.

Love you all!

Lucas is Heading Back To Iraq

Hello family!!

This post is directed mostly at Liam and Isabelle!! I understand you make a point to say your prayers and include Uncle Luke - especially when he is overseas and in Iraq. I wanted to tell you thank you for that and ask if you could make sure you keep him in your prayers again because on Sunday he will be gone again for about 4 months and Heavenly Father listened to you last time and brought him home safe - so if you could keep up the good work I would be thrilled - and any other of the family who can do the same it would be appreciated!!

Tim's Climbing Comp

Here are some pictures of Tim and his friends at the climbing comp we went to last Saturday. I had a great time watching all of them and enjoyed the whole thing. I really appreciate Tim letting me tag along. I kind of invited myself and he did not blink an eye. Thanks baby. The pics are of Roxy #1, Craig #2, Marcus #3, Jared #4 and Corey #5 with Tim sprinkled in here and there. He is the one with the furry face!
Love, Mom

SNOW!!!

Yes Virginia there is snow in Tennessee. It's just very rare, but super fun and exciting because of that. Here are some early morning photos of our snow day. Even Emery got in on the action. I must tell you that these photos were taken at 6:30 am. Nate Dog called and declared it a snow day, so Morgan loaded up all the kiddos and let me take a long and wonderful, kid-free snooze. Oh heaven! Anyway, enjoy these happy photos. I would also like to point out the sheer and pure joy expressed in each and every one of Liam's photos. That little man could not be happier!

The evolution of crawling!

Here are three videos of Aiden as he moved from crawling to walking, (ok admittedly in the last video he is walking with a little assistance, but it is not from either Sarah nor myself.)

Cheers,
Price

Weekly Check in!!

Hello all - well it is really quiet down here now that Michele is gone, I am bored and can find nothing to do!! Come Back!! NOW I am posting some pictures of her visiting with Amelia - who was willing to stand in for Emery until her grandma can get to see her.

Lucas dropped by and surprised us for Super Bowl and is staying to bond with the baby - none of us are foolish enough to believe he wanted to visit with the rest of us. But that is ok we just like seeing him. And don't be fooled by the sweet baby, she is giving Ashleigh a run for her money, she likes to sleep all day and visit all night!!
