NO MORE BEDS!!

OK so what part of summer means that all of a sudden we don't sleep in beds. I am so beyond the hassle so here's the sleep for that last few nights. Crowded in the cubby, couch, fouton, floor, big brother's bed. It's all good.

Happy Father's Day

Today I am counting my blessings. One I miss so much it hurts... Dad I love you and I am so grateful to be your daughter. Thanks for all the years of sacrifice and love. Thanks for letting me cry on your shoulder, for making me laugh when I was mad, and for letting me work with you and spend that extra time. It made me feel special and loved. I miss you so much! I wish I could be there with you today. Happy Father's Day!


Morgan, Thanks for being the best Dad our kids could ever ask for. You take time to love them and teach them and just make them laugh. I love how you serve them and how you strive to make our home a fun place to be. You are wonderful! I miss you too, but I know that this time in our life will pass and soon we'll have TONS of time together. I love you!

Price, I know that life's been rough as of late. Hold tight to who you are and remember above all else you are a dad and no one can take that away from you. Remember as you love your son, you too are loved by the generations of men who came before you. I love you too!

Tim, Happy first father's day. I know you will be an amazing dad, just because i've seen how much you love your nephew's and nieces. Have fun with this new adventure. I'm rooting for you!

Best Bandaid Puller

It's June and pool season has begun. We went to the lake the other day and ago and had a BLAST!! Colin is such a little fish and he has NO FEAR! I had to watch him constantly. Isa LOVED it. She is ready to learn to swim and I won't be at all surprised to see her doing so by the end of the summer.


I got all dressed up the other day ago and had Liam take some photos of me. I was so bummed. They were all thumbs down except for these two. I'm resigned to the fact that my kids make me much more beautiful then when I stand alone. It's all good. Emery is so fun and has been so sweet lately. She really is a bug a boo and makes these pictures priceless.


Liam is growing up so fast. He has his cool summer look again. So I took a few photos just for fun. I love my kids eyes. I think they are beautiful...

Tonight, Emery had a bandaid on her nose. I was trying to take it off and she was panicking about the bandaid hurting. Liam jumped in and told her he could take it off without hurting. She believed him. As he pulled he blew on the bandaid. It worked! She was so excited she said " Liam you're the best thank you! You are the best blower ever" It was so sweet and random. I just felt blessed to have kids who love and serve one another! Yeah for great kids!

We went up to our friends the Rumsey's house in Kentucky and had a great weekend. It was a random quick let's just go kind of a thing. I love it there. We usually hang up there with our friends the Mickelsen's. This time we took some new friends the Johnsons. We had a great day of play and a night of music. It was wonderful. The Mickelsen's picked me a bag of cherries and i came home a made them into a pie! IT WAS AWESOME!!! and pretty to boot.
