Liam's Card Making Day!

Liam is making cards today and I thought you would like to have a picture of him beginning his project. He has decided to use patterned paper and his own art work for his cards...I will add pics and details as he finishes his cards.

Something's missing...

It's crafting time again..Isa decided that she was bored and needed a project this week...Aside from the gathering, Isa sewed the majority of this little dress for her new bear.  I love that she loves all things crafty.  I'm pretty sure she gets all her skills from my mom! PS.. Who said my little girl could be so big?!  

 She made the little earring she is wearing all by herself.  She found my old beading kit and has been adding that to her list of accomplishments.  We also broke out the friendship bracelets.  It's so fun to pull out the things that i used to love and find that she is old enough to give them a good try.

So now to tie in the title of this post....drum roll please... Em LOST HER FIRST TOOTH!!!!  She made out like a bandit with " 2 real dollars" and a coupon for a daddy date and 1 dozen donuts at crispy creme.  We are also missing a certain adventurer, but I will save his adventures for another post another day!

New in Town!

There's a new park in town and it is AWESOME!!!  I had enough room in the car to take all the kids in  my care to a park and so we packed up and headed out.  The park is beautiful.  The toys are built into the walking trail or hidden in the hollows of some man-made hills.  It seems a bit Frank Lloyd Wright-esque. (meaning that the toys blend in with the environment) The best part is the splash pad.  I forgot all about preparing for water fun, so I let the  kids have at it clothes and all. I'll let the pictures tell the story...

 So if anyone wants to come for a visit, we have a new fun place to take you.  Just be sure and bring your swimsuit!

Crazy ....

I feel a bit on the crazy side lately!  I am officially babysitting anywhere from 5-8 extras a day~  It's awesome and my kids for the most part love it!  I won't lie, there are days it wears a bit on me, so that's when the crazy comes out... One of the neighbor girls brought some hair spray over to play withand so we got a little creative~ my personal fav was special k's blue mohawk.

It's firefly season again!  I love it!  It is without a doubt one of my favorite southern blessings.  It's the one thing I would desperately miss if we ever moved away...

It's be really mild in the evenings which is unusual for Tennessee, either that, or my blood has REALLY thinned.  I think I'd FREEZE in Idaho...Anyway, Isa and Daddy were enjoying the mild night and the fireflies too!

I added this photo, because Emery CRACKS me up!  Seriously this girl is super sassy and cheeky and gonna be the coolest cat around when she becomes a teenager.  Check out her shoes...funny girl!

Liam had a super fabulous week at scout camp!  I think his favorite part was the two sleepovers he had with D.B.  I'm grateful for the good friends he has.  He doesn't get that one on one guy time very often, so when he does it's a day of celebration!

Aunt Mandy came up with the awesome idea of having a cousin's carnival.  I'll post more on the nashvillewilliamsweekly.blogspot.com 

It was super awesome and super fun.  The kids LOVED it and the mamas had fun preparing it...

Christy was sweet enough to share her talents again and set up a photo booth for the kids...

We will definitely be making this an annual event.  It was so much fun! 
So that's a wrap.  We're kind of tied to the house right now with so many kids around, so we'll just have to be a bit more creative to come up with some interesting posts in the future!  Love to all our family and friends far away who keep up with us!
