Logan is REALLY growing up!!

Hi - it is tough to follow Michele's beautiful thoughts with family fun but I am going to dive in and share some pics of Logan. While hanging out with me a work - he anounced he was ready to go paint balling with his Dad and friends. Now for those of you who are not in the know as to what paint balling is all about - mostly grown men go out and shoot each other with guns loaded with little balls of paint - it is a rougher version of tag kinda. The bottom line is it HURTS and leaves some nasty bruises despite all of the protective gear you wear. Logan joined the guys and showed his war wounds with pride - give me peace I thought skateboarding was bad !!

In Memory of a Prophet of God

I have just received the news that our beloved prophet has died. He has always felt like "our" prophet. He signed the papers that sent Price, Tim, Morgan and his brothers on their missions. He was the prophet when Jessie and Morgan, Price and Sarah and so many others were married. He was the prophet when I served as Primary President and he was the prophet that had the most engaging smile. I will miss him.

Tonight as I sit here I want you all to know how much I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I want you to know that I love my savior Jesus Christ. I love the prophets - each one. I believe in Christ. He is my savior. I cannot imagine my life without the influence of the church or the blessings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am touched to know I was blessed to be raised in Mormon home and that I was trusted to be the mother to you children. I love my life and I love each of you. I bear you my testimony that this church is true. That the blessings of the temple are real and that it is only through obedience that we will be together throughout eternity.

Please live a Christ-centered life.

Happy Birthday Amelia!!

Can you believe it has been a year since our little girl arrived??? We had a classic cupcake birthday party today and I thought you might like to see some of the pics - Hey everyone I need the title of your favorite childhood (young) book so I can add it to her collection - give me a couple of choices - I add pics of you through so Amelia can "get to know you" through the book. The cake was her favorite part but that goes without saying!!

Liam loves his new camera from Gramachele and Poppo. Here are some of the photos he has taken. The ones with Jordon are from our Christmas movie. The others are random shots taken since Christmas. The girl in the photo with Liam is Nicole. She is his class buddy in church. The taco is a smiley face Liam created, and the magnetics is a really cool creation he made today. Winter Storm Watch 2008

Hello family!

Isa can read!

Isabelle can read! She read her first sentence this week. All by herself. It was "Isa sat on a cat." We are so excited! Also Liam is halfway through his first chapter book. He is reading it all on his own. It is called Pixie Tricks and it is a funny series that Isa picked up at the library. I'm so proud of them. Life with kids is good!
