Day two Nashville Diaries

Sunday was good. In fact it was great because we celebrated Colin's 2nd birthday. I can't believe my little man is 2. He is so vivacious and busy and spunky and full of attitude. If he is put in the corner or asked to do something he doesn't want to do he'll say go away mommy, He also will surprise me with love and hugs and kisses and Love you mommy. He is night and day to Liam. Curiosity is his middle name! We went to the park for cupcakes with the family. The kids loved playing on the toys and Colin felt very loved...

We love playing with cousins and friends. I caught some super cute photos of Bella and CC on the playground while Tiffany caught up with the guys. I'm so glad she was here to celebrate our little man with us. Thanks Josh for sharing your wife and kids!

Finally

I finally had a visitor. Alright, I had to play devils advocate and beg her to stay the week and promise to take her home but it worked! I had someone come visit me!!!! All silliness aside, Tiffany Alldredge came to visit this past week. It was WONDERFUL!!!! I so needed the break, the williness to open up and just be free and have fun. So here's the beginning of the marathon post. Day one. They got here...
Day two: Since it was Saturday we decided to spend the day at the Opryland Hotel. Josh and Tiffany treated us to pizza. It was fantastic. So fun to spend time with family and friends. I asked Morgan to take the weekend off and we took advantage of the time together.

We came home for some down time and while the kids played, we kicked back and relaxed. I was amazed at how the years just fell away. It was great to remember all the fun times we had. We even pulled out the scrapbooks. Though I still need to find my college one. Next stop was the parthenon. Centennial park is one of my favorite places. This particular day was one the more beautiful and so there were tons of families out and about. It just felt good to celebrate a beautiful day!

This photo just makes me smile! I love Colin's joyful face. He is so busy and always climbing or running or jumping he rarely walks. In fact as I type this he is climbing my shoulders. funny boy!

I sure did marry a handsome man!

Sassy posers! I love little girls!

Liam is growing up way to fast. I can't believe how blessed I am!

Isa sweet and demure. She is our sugar!

Morgan was driving Emery home today and she said I can't wait till I am thirteen cuz then I'll be a grandma and have grandkids. Silly cheeky girl. She is the spice in our life

All in all it was a wonderful peaceful Saturday full of family and friends. I certainly am blessed.

family moments

We've had some fun family moments lately. We decided to camp in while liam went to daddy's concert this last month. We read stories and snuggled in for the night. It was so much fun and reminded me that I need to take more moments like these.

I have also noticed lots of sweet moments with my kids spending time together. Isa in particular has been caught in the act of loving her siblings. She loves to read to Emery and I love seeing her share her time and talents with her sister...

Emery loves to have her photo taken. Hmmm sounds like me doesn't it. Good thing dad is a photographer!

I love that Colin wants to be just like Liam. They are my bookend boys and they are such fun! I couldn't imagine one without the other. I am so blessed!

Speaking of Colin, he is my little helper. He is always there to throw something away, help with groceries or put away the silverware! I caught he and daddy having a morning snuggle and watching a peppa pig. Loves all around!

Morgan and I even slipped in a little family time for just the two of us. We went for a night of play with our friends Sara and Mark. It was a blast! We laughed so hard, my cheeks hurt and you know with a smile as big as mine that is really saying something! Life is really good! I'm grateful for the little family moments and the joy I feel in spending eternity with Morgan. I am grateful for fun friends to celebrate that relationship with. Life is just beautiful.

I know it can be difficult to make a post for Tim and Audrey so when they sent new pictures of their little princess I knew I should share!
Maryn is 6 months old now and she gets cuter all the time!
