Tennessee thunderstorms

It was 80 out today and so we decided to play outside and had the blessing of a quick thunderstorm. It reminded me of home and made me just a little homesick, but loved it just the same. The kids had a great time! I wish you could hear the thunder better. It's great and really loud. I LOVE the storms here! May I just say thank you thank you thank you Mom and Dad and Price and Sarah, for the camera. I LOVE IT!!! It is great and I am figuring out some new fun things to do with it! Thank you!Our photos of the kids and video include our good friend Mitchell. He spent the day with us and came up with the idea of fighting the thunder and lightening to keep himself from being scared.

random photos

We went to play with our friends this last week. We had lunch and Timber and I had a great mom moment with uninterrupted conversation. It was great! The kids also enjoyed themselves. Emery had so much fun that she took a two hour nap when she got home and then fell asleep on the couch for another hour. So cute!!!!

We also had some fun chasing a wild turkey that was in our yard. We looked out the window the other morning and saw this fellow in the backyard. Liam and I both grabbed our cameras and tried to get a picture. Liam was a little bummed that he missed his shot, but I got at least one good photo.

Lastly, here are some updated photos of Colin. He is growing so fast. We love him so much. He's had some tummy troubles this week, but overall is such a joy to have around. The kids are great helpers and love to hold him all the time.

easter with aiden and laila

I thought i would share some of our pictures from easter with aiden and laila. We had a wonderful weekend. We dyed easter eggs, made baskets and hunted eggs. Later in the day Aiden and I blew bubbles outside in the sunshine. It was a perfect day. Love you all.

{testimony of Christ}

I just saw this beautful video of Bro. Holland's conference address and could not help but share it. I am overwhelmed with the spirit. I testify to you my children that I love the Savior with all my heart and have a firm and unshakable testimony of the gosple of Jesus Christ. I know the atonement is real and that it works in my life and will work in your life if you will only use His gift. Be good children. Be true. Be prayerful. Be steadfast. Be examples of the Savior's love to all men.
Love,
mom

haircut!

Emery does not like having to comb her hair in the morning. My usual threat is that if you don't comb your hair, mom will cut it off. Well, she took me up on my threat. She said she wanted it cut, so after asking about a million times " are you sure?" I cut it. It's cute and she is much happier! Funny Girl!

Happy Easter

Our yard has become so beautiful, thanks to the storms lately. The lighting was amazing in this photo. It was about an hour before a storm. The green makes me think of a fairy land. It's wonderful to have such a beautiful view!

This will be a long one! We had a great easter! We easter egg hunted and are all candied out. On Sunday our Branch President gave a great sharing time and spent some good time with the kids in Primary. We felt so strongly the Holy Ghost testifying of the divinity of our Saviour and his Sacrifice and the joy of knowing that we have a fullness of the gospel. I felt such grattitude for the Savior and the gift he gave to us. It was really neat. We talked about those people who witnessed the resurrection of the Savior and how we too can be a witness for the Savior. It was great!

On Saturday, we went easter egg hunting at the park and spent some good time with our friends the Dawsons. It was chilly out, so we scooted for home with the promise of a playdate on Wednesday. We dyed eggs at home

and then spent a relaxing evening doing nothing. (We rented Igor and watched it, not a great film.) Sunday, we went to church and had a great morning, got home and went over to wish our neighbors a happy easter and show off Colin.

They invited us back over to have an easter egg hunt and play for a while. We ended up spending the whole day with them.

We ended a wonderful Easter with a yummy family dinner by JoAnna ( homemade bread and all! mmmmmm!) and an easter egg hunt there. I love watching the cousins interact and wish we were closer to Aiden and Laila to build those relationships. They love each other so much and love to play together. It's wonderful to see the friendships and comraderie that is growing within the family. I love it! The kids were so wiped/sugared out by the time we got home. We had a lot of fun and really enjoyed spending the day all about.

This is a random photo moment. Emery came down to read with Liam's glasses on. Too cute. These kids sure do love their big brother!

Thank you Sister Anderson!!

We were surprised by a sweet package from Sister Anderson. We miss her like crazy! I couldn't get the videos to upload so you get them on the blog. I love that the kids decided to play with the bubble pop first thing!

We had a great visit with Gramachele! The kids loved going to the zoo with her. Emery has never gone so high on the swings! Thank you for such a great visit and for the dates and time spent with the kids and us. I also enclosed a few photos of Colin and Liam in parts and pieces.

day 2

We're so happy to have Gramachele here. Yesterday we went to thelibrary and park and played. 70 degree weather is perfect for a park day. Emery was worn out and so were mom and I so we headed home for naps. After naps we picked up Morhan and got dinner ready. We ate salsa meatloaf cupcakes frosted with blue mashed potatoes. mmmm
It was a fun day!
