I just wanted to post a few more pictures of Emery. These ones are fun, because they show her in some outfits that I wore as a baby. Sweet and so fun! Enjoy! Oh yeah and Price, you better watch out your birthday is coming too.

happy happy birthday!

Happy Birthday Tim!!!! We love you !!!! Here are some fun pictures to walk you down memory lane. See how much you have changed and grown over the years. Or have you? Somehow, I think you might wear boots and a cowboy hat and not much else, but I think it might be early on a Christmas morning sometime. Hee hee!

Emery is here!

Hey! We just wanted to announce on the blog that Emery Jane Williams came into the world on September 8th, 2006. She is a whopping 7lbs 2oz and only 20 1/2 in long. She is wonderful and is all peaches and cream. Labor was only 2 1/2 hours and contrary to popular belief was wonderful as well. I really enjoyed the whole 9 month experience and am looking forward to the next step of enjoying her here. She is my joy baby and we love her lots. Here are a few pictures of day one... OK Iadded a few pictures of the first week. Talitha delivered Emery. Isn't she beautiful. That's me on the phone telling mom she has another granddaughter. The others are just fun pictures of the kids with Emery and her curls. When her hair is wet it is so curly and cute!

Some pics of the weekend

Spathes Clan Weekend

Hello everyone!! I have to take the time to write and update everyone to all of the fun we got to have this weekend. We were really blessed to have everyone home for our traditional weekend at the Internatiional Street Faire, we have been going to this faire for the past 20 years! Just to get everyone on the same page - like you don't know already but Ashleigh and Chris are going to have their first baby in January and although we don't offically know the sex yet I believe it is a boy! Lucas made it home from Iraq finally after being hung up there for an additional 2 weeks so it made his being able to join us for the weekend extra special. The fun for me is the fact that when you get all of these boys together again they are immediately 10,12 and 14! I am alway amazed how Ashleigh survived having 3 brothers and stunned by how well she handles them to this day. Lucas brought Dani down with him and we were all happy to get to visit and get to know her better, she is a joy to be around and does amazingly well with our large, loud family! I mentioned to Mark that there is not a chance that we can downsize - with the family growing and getting bigger we need all the room we have. I am going to attach some pictures (I hope I can make it work!) You will see a girl with Matt - that is Colleen who Mark Thomas calls Sally, she is a mutant - one eye is blue and the other is brown!! All in all we had a great weekend and have some great memories to hold us over till the boo b que!!

Liam's Birthday

Whew! This has been a crazy couple of weeks. Liam's birthday was August 23rd and the day before he came down with something yucky and spent the day sleeping. Lucky for us he woke up to a happy birthday full of feeling good! We decided to make his day special by using the money Gramachele sent and taking the kids to Chucky Cheese for dinner. Liam was so excited. We didn't tell him where we were going, just told him we had a surprise from Gramachele. We pulled into the parking lot and he was so excited! He and Isa had a great time. They loved the freedom of spending their "money" on whatever they wanted. Liam played lots of Star Wars and Isabelle rode all the cars at least three times. It was a lot of fun and we were super grateful that we don't make it a habit to go there often. Not doing so made this day really special.
Well, Liam's next big thing was a Pirate Birthday Party that weekend so we got ready. I made a treasure chest cake and got all the pirate accessories ready. The day before the party Liam came down with something else. Some flu bug (where do these things come from!!!) Anyway, the bathtub picture shows how he spent the next two days. Poor guy, he was really not feeling well. We postponed his party a week and let him open two presents.
So today, we finally had his party. I have to say, Liam was an angel today. He helped clean and get ready for the party, he shared with Isa and his friends, he said Thank you to Morgan and I for giving him a party and just all around was a fantastic five year old today. I am so grateful for such a good boy. We really are lucky. Today Morgan reminded me how fast the last five years have gone. I felt to sad to realize that time really does fly, but excited to see him grow and change at the same time. Ain't Motherhood Grand!
PS Uncle Jordan got Liam the superman suit and these pictures were just too cute not to share! The pirates in the photo are left to right...David, Justin, Liam and Zane.
