pinewood derby and first steps!

I was really proud of Liam. He designed his pinewood derby car and I helped him cut it out. Thank goodness for friends with tools. The dremel is my friend! Anyway, we didn't know anything about cars and we were working on a budget so we turned it in as is. We did make a cool shockman to drive the shockmobile. Anyway, 3.4 oz is not enough to win. Oh well Liam had a great attitude and hid his disappointment well. Next year we'll go for the gold and pull some tricks, but for this year, we followed the rules and had a good time. s



Colin is now starting to walk. It's so cute and he loves to celebrate after. I love my little bugs!

Snow Day

OK so I laugh about Tennessee snow days, but they really are fun for the kids. Sometimes I wish we'd have a real snow day so the kids could experience the fun of four foot drifts and then I think, but we don't even sell sleds or really warm clothes so I guess it's a blessing! Anyway, enjoy our little snow day!
