Spring treasures

Man our new home is great! We have found two new treasures and I decided to share them with you. Our home has a magnolia tree ( a different variety from the one I am familiar with) and a dogwood tree. (That is the pink one in full bloom) I am also blessed with a lilac bush. I cannot tell you how excited I am about that one. Lilacs are not very common in Tennessee and yet next to lily of the valley they are my favorite spring flower. I am so thrilled. I have also enclosed a photo of the road to our house. Mom and dad, I thought you would like to see how pretty Tennessee can be. We love the broccoli hills accenting the redbud trees. Wow Spring is beautiful. The last spring flower on the page is Emery. She is so pretty. Mom, you will have to show this photo to the Arrington's next door. This is the outfit they gave her and it is so sweet! Love you all! Jess

The Thesis is Nearly Done!!!!!

Just wanted to tell everyone that i finished the fourth chapter of my thesis today and am looking forward to finishing the much shorter conclusion this weekend. if all goes according to plan, i will have my thesis completely done by the first of April and will be well on my way to graduation! YEAH!!!!! In case you did not know and would like to make arrangements, commencement is on the 12th of May, and we will be having a Graduation/1st Birthday party for Aiden and myself following the graduation ceremony. We hope that all of you can come and celebrate with us, but we understand that travel and such is difficult to arrange at times, so we wish you all the best and understand that you will be there in spirit.

My brand new Mountaineering boots.

Here you are these are them. My brand new mountaineering boots. The picture is just a little fuzzy but you get the idea. I am wearing them until my class begins. I just got them yesterday and man i am enjoying them like crazy. It is all about breaking them in enough that they will be just right for the class in the middle of April. They are La Sportiva Glacier Evos and they sure are neat. Well that is the new exciting news in my life for now. When more happens I will post again then. Later

Mom I love the pics of Grams and of you and Aunt Patty and Everyone, but where are the pictures of the bathroom. Inquiring minds would like to know what it looks like now. So if you could please take sometime out of your busy and very time consuming scrapbooking lifestyle to post just a few pictures that would be fantastic. love ya tons

I have to explain this picture

I ran out of time the other day when I posted the picture of Amelia in the wreath and funny dress and wanted to tell the story of this outfit. Chris and Ashleigh got invited with the Meelie Bug to go to a princess birthday party - everyone of the kids was to come in costume. We could not find a costume small enough and were racking our brains when Christy came up with the perfect idea, she took the dress off of one of Jayden's teddy bears (who by the way is a male bear???) so the dress/costume Meelie is wearing is actually from a teddy bear!! Nothing like humiliating a child early in life! Love you all :}}

Where has time gone???

Hello loves!! I cannot believe how long it has been since I added anything to the blog!! Seems like yesterday but Amelia will be 2 months on the 21st!! and I have been bad about updating and posting some new pics.

We are all fine and dandy here, Lucas on the other hand has Small Pox - a gift from the Air Force to help him build immunity against the disease - lovely!! He has anthrax to look forward to next week - YUCK

I am going to post some pics of the new kitchen - you will all laugh out loud - Uncle Mark has decided this might be prideful to have done the kitchen and feels bad now - some days he challenges me more then others!!

Ash is doing good as a Mom - her pregnancy picture is on the photography website at www.linnealenkus.com she is #5 in the pregnancy section.

Matt is finishing up the final things for the highway patrol, and Mark and Christina and deep in the little league baseball world.

So everyone I love you and wish we all lived in the same spot - thank goodness for the internet!!

sweet kiddos

Hello again! I just thought I would share a few fun photos from the last two weeks. Emery is growing and changing so much. She has tried her first cereal, is pulling up to her knees and just last night flipped over from her back to her front and sat herself up. I am so excited to see her progressing and learning and growing. We are convinced that she will be crawling soon, but only because she is tired of being left behind in a room, while I clean things up or run upstairs real fast. She is a determined little squirt and has just found her high pitched scream. Yes folks it is an all out scream. I think it is part of being the third in line. We all remember Tim's scream, hee hee. Anyway, Liam is really into The Magic Tree House series, so if you see him wearing his fake glasses, then you'll know he is playing the role of "Jack" and Isa is no doubt "Annie". Both Liam and Isa are such great friends. They love each other and though they have their moments, play together so well. It is a joy to be a mom.
