My baby is growing up!

Today was a fun day for us. We did a little service (cleaned the church, helped a sister out the normal saturday affair) But thanks to Liam who is a wonderful brother and babysitter and who I owe some mommy time to, Isa and Emery and I were able to have a girls afternoon out... We started at the Macaroni Grill for lunch...
"Sisters, sisters, there were never such devoted sisters..."
Isa drew me a cute picture. I love that she drew my hair in the side ponytail! Sweet girl!
So excited! Sometimes it just feels good to have some girl time.
Isa brough sunflower so she could hug her if it hurt at all...
This is Emery's begging pouting why can't I get my ears pierced, I don't wanna wait till I'm 8 and I don't care if it's special face. Yep she's persistent, but I'm a mule and no is no. Poor girl it's hard to be the younger sister...hee hee
Isa was a pro! She didn't even blink. I think I was more teary than she was. It's hard to watch your little girl grow up and to me this was something I remember so clearly and I remember feeling so grown up with my pretty earrings. I guess all those emotions channeled toward Isa growing up. I love who she is becoming, but part of me wants her to slow down just a bit...
Yep, They're even!
I love that she sat like this the whole time. Such a lady. She had people stopping and watching her and commenting on how she was sitting so cute. It was funny. There were a few ladies who went out of their way to catch her afterwards and tell her she looked pretty.
Beatiful girl. Oh I LOVE HER EARS!!!!!
So that was our exciting date! I'm blessed to have such great kids. I may not always be the most patient, loving, kind, clean, fun mom, but I sure to love my kids and really I guess that's what counts the most...

Can't believe how fast kids grow up. She looks so excited and grown up to have her ears pierced. And dang it .... why didn't I think of taking a teddy bear with me when I had my ears pierced. I was 20 but still.... could have hid him under my shirt!! =)
